Process shots of my Deathpact Angel fan art! It’s always fun to see a piece laid out like this. Well, depending on your definition of fun, I guess.

  1. Rough sketch to shape things out. I erased both of her arms a couple of times before I settled for a pose.
  2. Linework soon follows. This part usually takes the longest, because I tend to go back and fix/redraw things that didn’t really translate well between the rough sketch and this step.
  3. Once again, a flat grey base is applied.
  4. And here I block in each part that shares a colour.
  5. Skin shading and the background texture.
  6. Once I applied the highlights, I was going to call it at this point and just upload it, but then I decided to colour it.
  7. Finished!
